Cucalorus 20: Filmmaker Simon Intihar treks from Slovenia to screen ‘Diving-In’

It took two car rides and three flights for Simon Intihar to make it to this weekend’s 20th anniversary Cucalorus Film Festival. And it was worth every minute and layover. Intihar hails from Slovenia (for the geography challenged, it’s in central Europe and borders the upper cusp of Italy), where he is a student with passion for film. But in his country, film isn’t the most beloved trade. Despite the lack of love, Intihar produced a short film, titled “Diving-In,” he is eager to share with the world.
